Size & Shape Matters
It is vital that you dedicate enough time and energy to plan your conservatory thoroughly. Your conservatory does not have to be enormous as small can be equally beautiful and help keep the costs down. Listed below are five tips which we hope will help you plan your conservatory.
- Take the planning stage seriously and never be satisfied with just having a mental picture of your conservatories dimensions.
- Use a respected Ultraframe Installer such as Thermaglaze to measure-up your proposed conservatory and actually mark-out your dimensions. This will enable you to actually walk around or inside your proposed design.
- Once you have had your design physically marked out, you can actually place your furniture within the space to get an accurate idea of the dimensions available to you.
- Ask for 3D CAD drawings from your chosen Ultraframe Installer to give you a realistic impression of what your finished conservatory will look like.
- Remember that the actual internal space provided by your conservatory will be less than the actual size of the installation. As a rule of thumb, to estimate the internal dimensions, subtract 10.5 inches (275mm) from the external length and 21 inches (550mm) from the external width.
