Measuring Windows

  1. Design and draw your windows as viewed from inside the room.
  2. Measure your window from inside of the room, recording all your measurements in centimetres.
  3. Width: Measure from REVEAL to REVEAL and add 5cm for the plaster line to the measurement.
  4. Height: Measure from the underside of the window CILL to the HEAD of the window and add 5cm for the plaster line to the measurement.

Measuring Bay Windows

  1. Design and draw your windows as viewed from inside the room.
  2. Measure your window from inside of the room, recording all your measurements in centimetres.
  3. Width: Measure all window widths and the full width as marked in the diagram.
  4. Depth: Measure from the window cill edge to the full bay depth as per diagram.
  5. Height: Measure from the underside of the window CILL to the HEAD of the window and add 5cm for the plaster line to the measurement.

Measuring Front & Back Doors

  1. Design and sketch your doors as viewed from inside the room.
  2. Measure your door from inside of the room, recording all your measurements in centimetres.
  3. Width: Measure from REVEAL to REVEAL and add 5cm for the plaster line to the measurement.
  4. Height: Measure from the FLOOR to the HEAD of the door and add 5cm for the plaster line to the measurement.
  5. Side Panels: If your door has one or more side panels please measure these in the same way and record them separately, be sure to include them in your sketch, but don’t worry we are not expecting Picaso!

Measuring patio, french or bi-folding doors

  1. Design and draw your door as viewed from inside the room.
  2. Measure your door from inside of the room, recording all your measurements in centimetres.
  3. Width: Measure from REVEAL to REVEAL and add 5cm for the plaster line to the measurement.
  4. Height: Measure from the FLOOR to the HEAD of the door and add 5cm for the plaster line to the measurement.

External Survey

Where possible, we
will try and carry out
any pre-contract
property surveys
externally, using
PPE and distancing
measures.

Social Distancing

We will maintain a
distance of a mimiumum of 2m between you, your family
family and our designers and surveyors.

Hygiene

Our designers and surveyors will wash their hands with soap and water and use hand sanitizer when they enter or leave your property.

Ventilation

If possible (we know it is cold!) please keep your home as well ventilated as possible by opening windows and doors before and during any visit.
